The Local Guys Business Show Podcast - September 2025

This week marked a milestone for me as I was invited onto The Local Guys Business Show for my very first podcast appearance.

Podcasts have become such a powerful way to share stories, insights, and experiences, so being asked to step behind the microphone was both exciting and a little surreal.

During the episode, we talked about what goes on behind the scenes at The Local Guys and how we support franchisees through digital marketing. Some of the key topics included:

• How the marketing team manages all the technical and strategic aspects of digital marketing, so franchisees can focus on running their businesses.

• The true value of SEO comes from consistency. It takes time to build momentum, but once established, it drives sustainable growth and lasting visibility for a business.

• From Google Ads and SEO to social media, video, and local area marketing, we cover every angle to give franchisees the best chance to succeed.

• Through dashboards, scorecards, and quarterly meetings, we help franchisees see not just what they are doing, but how effective they are at reaching their full potential in business.

I have always believed that small businesses thrive on connection. What I loved most about the conversation was how it became an open discussion where I could share real experiences, challenges, and lessons I have learned along the way. Marketing teams usually operates in the background, so being able to share my own perspective was a real pleasure.

This experience has motivated me to keep stepping outside my comfort zone, say yes to new opportunities, and continue sharing insights that might help others.
